Southern Farmhouse Life

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be living in Florida in a huge farmhouse with my little family. I had traveled to Florida before, but mostly to the tourist traps in Orlando and down in Miami. The Panhandle region of Florida is so different from the rest of the state. Lush, green trees, wide open spaces and farms dotting the landscape. We live in a small town about 30 minutes outside of Tallahassee, the capital of Florida. I’m so glad we chose to buy our home where we did. We love it here.

In between all of my cooking adventures, we are doing projects around our farmhouse to update it and make it our home sweet home. Our home was built in 1940, it has southern charm, and has needed some TLC. With over 3K square feet, we have our hands full, but in the end, it’s going to be perfect. I’ll be posting pictures of projects we are doing, updates, and the finished product!

Our Home Sweet Home

We live on 6 acres, so we will also be updating some sections of our land! Check back to see our gardening and farming adventures ❤️

Southern Front Porch

Can’t wait for our friends and family to come and visit us, pull up a chair and enjoy a nice glass of sweet tea ❤️

What projects would you like to see us do around our home?
