Creamy Cajun Pasta (this is 🌶!)

We wanted to spice up our regular pasta routine with a Cajun kick, this was delicious! If you like Cajun food and pasta, this is a great mix. You can also adjust the level of spice which is great for our friends who aren’t fans of the heat but love the flavor.

In order to make this less hot and spicy, you will need to substitute the hot paprika for sweet paprika. You will also need to either reduce the cayenne pepper you use of just leave it out altogether. If you like it spicy, leave it the way I have it! There is a good kick! 🌶

Mix together seasonings for Cajun coating.
Coat chicken with seasonings in a bowl or on chicken in the skillet while it’s cooking.
Brown chicken for a couple mins each side, remove from skillet.
Add more olive oil and diced onion and bell pepper to skillet.
Cook until translucent.
Add canned fire roasted diced tomatoes
Stir it up!
Add cubed cream cheese, stir and melt it down.
Add milk and chicken back in, stir and simmer for 10 mins covered
Serve on top of cooked penne pasta, garnish with cheese!
