Sautéed Green Beans

What’s better than green bean casserole? Sautéed green beans! All the seasonings come together and make this delish. I use fresh green beans, but you can also use frozen. It’s the perfect side to any main dish, is healthy for you, and is vegan! The recipe I have says it’s 4 servings but my husband and I can eat a whole pound of green beans in one sitting on our own 😂

I blanch my beans prior to sautéing them and it helps to keep the beans from getting mushy or too crispy, it’s the perfect step prior to the sauté part. Check out my pics, steps and recipe below 😋

After boiled, I place the beans into a large bowl with ice water.
I heat oil in the stock pot and add the beans back in to sauté.
Added the seasonings and cooked to perfection!
