Indian Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani)

I love all of the flavors in a curry dish, I can’t explain all of the notes, you just have to try it yourself! For Indian butter chicken, it had a type of curry sauce and is amazing. If you’ve never tried Indian food, one of the first dishes you should try is either Chicken Tikka Masala or Murgh Makhani (Butter Chicken). If you have a local Indian restaurant, I suggest you try the food there! If you’re adventurous and want to try Indian food at home by making it, you’re in luck! I have a recipe for butter chicken that is to die for. You’ll need some spices in your cabinet you probably have heard of: coriander, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, ginger (fresh is good too), minced garlic (in your fridge), salt, and pepper.

You can make the dish as spicy as you want or not spicy at all. My version of the recipe is NOT spicy, you would need to add hot chili powder or cayenne pepper to it to make it spicy. I made this with my famous Turmeric Yellow Rice and garlic flatbread. I will have a separate post for both of these recipes. This is an awesome combination of recipes and turned out to be a fantastic dinner. My love for Indian food has only grown, next step would be to make a tamarind chutney to go with this! 😋
